A Wooden Slicker, also called an Edge Burnisher, is a hand tool used in leathercraft to smooth, compress, and polish the edges of vegetable-tanned leather after the edge has been cut, sanded, and beveled.

Its made to accommodate different thicknesses of leather typically 2-3 layers of leather depending on the thickness of the leather.

This small Edge Slicker is made to accommodate 3-4 layers of leather, depending on the thickness of the leather. it is only shorter in length.
