This hide is a 2mm thick grade 1 hide that is 60 square decimeters in size.
The Shoulder is normally a good piece of leather for those who are not sure what the are going to make.
It is normally strong and often thick, with excellent durability, yet flexible too, thanks to the movement of the neck and head of the cow. The leather is suitable for straps, belts etc.
The shoulder is one of the more affordable pieces of vegetable tan leather, as the square decimeters are normally enough for most first projects but so much as to break the bank.
